The world's largest fado festival returns to Alfama on September 11th and 12th, 2026, in a special edition honoring Rodrigo.

Over two days, Lisbon's historic neighborhood transforms into a unique musical journey, with ten stages spread across spaces steeped in history and tradition.

The lineup includes Carminho, Em Casa d'Amália ao Vivo by José Gonçalez — with Rodrigo, Ricardo Ribeiro and Katia Guerreiro, in a special tribute to Rodrigo —, Raquel Tavares, António Pinto Basto, Aldina Duarte, Filipa Cardoso, Gonçalo Salgueiro and Helder Moutinho, among many other fado artists.

A festival open to the city, the neighborhood, and everyone who wants to experience fado up close.


All tickets must be exchanged for a wristband by the ticket holder, which will be placed only by the Festival organization. You can exchange your ticket for a wristband at the Festival's local box office starting September 10th.
Only the Festival wristband grants access to all show areas, up to the capacity limit of each. In other words, there will always be a place to watch a show, but to watch the most popular shows on stages with less capacity, it will be advisable to arrive early.
