The development of the River Aquarium of Mora aimed to create a public aquarium dedicated to freshwater ecosystems. Its scientific, cultural and leisure characters consolidate an educational and environmental approach, by recreating an aquatic universe.
Throughout your visit, you will get to know over 600 specimens from 69 species which inhabit the rivers of Portugal, and others that can be found in the Iberian Peninsula, in the Amazon River basin and in the big African lakes of the Great Rift Valley.
