On June 13, join the D. Diogo de Sousa Archaeology Museum for a unique visit in the context of the 2026 European Archaeology Days.
The program offers a guided tour of the Roman Mining Complex of Tresminas, one of the most important examples of gold exploitation during the Roman period in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as the Castro of Cidadelha de Jales, where you can closely observe ongoing archaeological research work.
It includes a walk of approximately 3 km along a mountain trail, providing a special connection between nature, history, and archaeology.
An activity open to the public, ideal for families and anyone interested in cultural heritage!

Participation requires registration, with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 32 participants. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the activity if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
