The proposal of Experience Trindade Porto is to experience Porto through the Trinity Church – the largest in the city.
Experience Trindade Porto was created by the Order of the Most Holy Trinity so the public could visit the architectural complex of the Order, its Church (classified as a monument of public interest), the buildings adjacent and its heritage collection in order to understand the identity of Porto and its relationship with world history.
Created in Porto in 1755, the Order of the Most Holy Trinity, heir to a long history dating back to the 11th century, the time of the crusades and the constitution of the kingdom of Portugal, took part in the movement to transform the medieval city into a modern city, defining and consolidating a new centrality in Porto.

The "Church" circuit includes a set of chronologically ordered exhibitions that contextualises the Order of the Most Holy Trinity on a timeline from the 11th century to the present day. This immersion in universal and local history precedes the visit to the largest church in Porto.
The "Order" circuit includes a visit to the largest church in Porto, the rooms of the adjoining building, the vault, the staircase and great hall, the upper choir and the church gallery. These spaces have been adapted to exhibit the Order's heritage collection according to museological criteria.
The "Full Experience" includes a visit to the Church, all the areas of the adjoining building, and a visit to the bell tower and church terraces. On the bell tower tour, you will learn more about the history of the captives and behind-the-scenes architectural details of the Church. It allows you to see the city from a previously unknown vantage point.
