The EPICA return to Portugal for one of the most ambitious shows of their career. On 11 October 2027, the Dutch band will take to the stage at Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon with “The Symphonic Synergy”, a special production that brings EPICA together with a full orchestra and choir.
As part of the band’s 25th anniversary celebrations, The Symphonic Synergy takes EPICA’s symphonic dimension to a scale rarely possible on stage. The concept was first introduced in 2024 with four concerts in Amsterdam and Mexico City, attended by more than 30,000 fans, and now returns reimagined and adapted to celebrate EPICA’s 25th anniversary.
With only 11 dates across Europe, this will be a rare opportunity to experience EPICA’s music in its most grandiose and cinematic form. The scale of the production has already been reflected in the demand, with performances at the Royal Albert Hall in London and Vibra São Paulo selling out in less than three days.
Over more than two decades, EPICA have established themselves as one of the leading names in symphonic metal worldwide, combining Simone Simons’ distinctive vocals, the intensity of metal and sweeping orchestral arrangements. In 2025, the band opened a new chapter with Aspiral, their ninth studio album, further reinforcing the balance between heaviness, melody and the symphonic element that defines their identity.
In Lisbon, that music will be presented in one of its most complete expressions: band, orchestra and choir united on stage in a production designed to explore the full epic and cinematic scope of the EPICA universe.
